This project
proposes an observation of the present from another perspective, from the future, so the present becomes the past.

The pass of time has made objects, once useful, complete junk incapable of actualizing to the speed of the market. The lack of forethought in which they are fabricated makes for a hard reutilization, and the capitalist society incites its disposal and its whole replacement.

The creation of this chair comes from this futuristic context and seeks to give an archaeological view to objects coming from the trash, which are in themselves significant to an era. These objects are elevated and their hierarchy, changed.

Distancing the obsolete objects from the purpose they were created, we are able to decontextualize them changing their use, so we can reuse them. This chair represents a personal vision of the mediation between the future and the present past.

“Time is a landscape and if you had the right perspective on the universe you would see all of it layed out in front of you, all past, present and future as a hole thing.”
