Irene is an artist and designer graduated in 2020 by Bau, University of Design. She focuses her studies in what it means for a body to inhabit a space, an environment regulated by rules that will dictate the performance of this body (in which the mind is included). When creating her work, she tends to go through a process of questioning society’s inherited behaviors, an interrogation that starts by analyzing oneself. With an interest and a special sensitivity for plastic arts, design, scenography, architecture and sculpture her view is multidisciplinary, unapologetically sincere and seeks to be in a state of constant learning and renovation.

Irene es una artista y diseñadora graduada en 2020 por Bau, Universidad de Diseño. Enfoca sus estudios en lo que significa habitar un espacio desde un cuerpo, un entorno regulado por reglas que dictaminan la performatividad de este cuerpo (en el cual la mente está incluida). Al crear su trabajo, tiende a pasar por un proceso de cuestionamiento de los comportamientos heredados de la sociedad, una interrogación que empieza analizándose a uno mismo. Con un interés y una sensibilidad especial por las artes plásticas, el diseño, la escenografía, la arquitectura y la escultura su visión es multidisciplinar, brutalmente sincera y busca estar en un estado constante de aprendizaje y renovación.
